Entries open for Building Team Awards 2015

Entries for the awards are due by Monday, 2nd February 2015. April 2015 issue of Building Design +Construction will feature the winners.

This is a competition where every construction related person having good relationships with all the construction team and related to a new construction project or this year’s project, can apply. New built projects which will excellently exemplify the collaborative relationship between owner, architect, engineer and contractor to produce buildings which also possess architectural and constructional Excellence will be recognized and awarded by Building Design + Construction’s Building team.

Two criteria are kept for judgment of submissions:

• Design, construction quality, engineering and excellence of the project. It marks for 50% of the total grade
• The other 50% is for collaborative relationship (overcoming all the hindrances and obstacles in construction) between all the building team.

The deadline for the 18th Annual Building Team Awards is Monday, February 2, 2015:

If you want to enter in these awards you have to provide with following information on a flash drive or by sharing it on Dropbox, high tail etc.

• Written statement of support. If you want help to write this, you can find it on entry information or tip sheet
• PowerPoint with low resolution providing with images of project
• High resolution images of project in a folder
• Information sheet of project
• Payment form or check made payable to SGC horizon.
